Curious. Kind. Direct. That's how people describe me. I have a genuine love for this work and I do what I do with sincerity and honesty.
My space is quietly lit and comfortable, reflecting my approachable temperament, and my methods are direct. Change and growth are nurtured here. I understand it's not always easy to talk about problems and express emotions and so I offer you a neutral, nonjudgmental atmosphere as I listen to your story.
I use a collaborative approach to therapy and together, our goal is to improve your well being. Additionally, I am comfortable integrating spirituality into therapy, if that's something that interests you.
As far as the specifics of my background, I have a Minnesota License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), a master's degree in psychology from St. Mary's Graduate College, and a master's degree in theology from Luther Theological Seminary. I've been in practice for 25 years and have had the pleasure of helping a wide range of patients meet goals, get unstuck and move on.
